Its a rose colored mineral piece to be identified and it has a conchoidal fracture, no streak and nonmetallic luster. It is able to be scratched with a steel file, but not with glass or a pocket blade knife. The mass is 53 grams and when placed in water, it displaces a volume of 20 cubic cm of water. Whats the hardness of this material? Whats the specific gravity and how do you find it? I need help and what is this mineral?
